POSITION OBJECTIVE:

• Organize and monitor the work in the workshop
• Develop work plans for the workshop team and control their execution.
• Develop parts replacement plans.
• Control the movement and stock of materials, parts, equipment, accessories, and tools.
• Plan scheduled equipment downtimes.
• Specify parts for supplies.
• Ensure team training.
• Plan, supervise, and ensure preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, and establish maintenance quality indicators.
• Ensure daily lubrication is performed on all operational equipment.
• Determine the root causes of premature equipment damage and defects.
• Develop annual maintenance budgets and monitor their execution.
• Control and verify existing tools in the tool shop.
• Supervise the administrative work of the workshop, ensuring the organization of files with documentation for each piece of equipment.
• Prepare and present performance reports for the area.
• Comply with and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures and standards in the workshop work environment.
• Report technical irregularities of the fleet and employees to the uperior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Intermediate level in general mechanics.
• A degree in mechanical engineering is an advantage.
• 3 years’ proven experience as a mechanical workshop manager
