Position Synopsis:
Reporting to the Technical Training Lead Mozal, the purpose of the role is to provide support and input into the development, planning and execution of HRD programmes, events, and training systems across the organisation. The Training Specialist also carries responsibility for the coordination, execution, and administration of training services within an allocated area.
Core Accountabilities:
- Compile and communicate bi-annual training calendars (central point), assisting Training Administrators with their calendars in allocated areas of the business to ensure that all plans merge effectively.
- Induction: develop and drive effective induction systems, technologies, and processes at Mozal, conducting periodic reviews to ensure that Induction meets the needs of the organisation.
- Development Schemes: Coordinate the Graduates, Bursar, and Intern Schemes, collaborating and communicate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that program design meets learning outcomes.
- Leadership programmes: coordinate the execution of annual leadership programmes as required.
- Culture interventions: plan and coordinate the execution of culture interventions on an ad hoc basis.
- Organisational Interventions: plan, coordinate and project management large scale organisational interventions in collaboration with stakeholders and service providers.
- Execute the payment process across HRD.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources / Organisational Development / Leadership, or any relevant area.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of Learning and Development.
- Experience in a heavy Industrial environment would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English
