Coca – Cola Beverages Africa has an exciting vacancy of Marketing Assistant at one of our Mozambique Bottlers – Chimoio Plant that is the leading producer of various flavors in Mozambique for the last 26 years. This position reports directly to the Marketing Coordinator. The incumbent will be responsible to ensure secure protection of Marketing Warehouse assets and inventory, minimizing risks, fraud and losses, ensuring compliance with stock management and control processes and procedures. As well as increasing brand value and awareness by activating special events in line with the brand strategy.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Stock Control:
- Make sure all stock can be accounted;
- Recommend optimal warehouse layout; Preparing the system for cycle counting;
- Warehouse breaks; Destroyed stock; Stock adjustments;
- Returns of Marketing materials;
- Sending Materials to the Provinces.
Administration compliant with SHEQ and GMP requirements:
- Compliance with all TCCMS requirements;
- Ensure compliance with 5S requirements;
- Preparing warehouse layout for audit.
- Support relationships with suppliers and customers:
- Assist with promotional activities across the North Region;
- Support the Activation and communication of equipment at events;
- Help conduct and gather findings in market research;
- Identify marketing trends and key innovation opportunities;
- Proceed with filling in the requisition book and closing the invoices.
Skills, Experience & Education
- High school completed, National Diploma in Commercial, Sales and Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related areas.
- 3 to 5 years of working experience on this role or similar position preferably with.
- Good understanding of stock management and marketing principles.
- Warehousing and/or Logistics and Marketing experience in an FMCG environment it’s advantage.
- Solid computer skills (MS Office).
- Perception of the product and the company’s brand.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English is advantageous.
- Valid drive license applicable to Mozambique territory.
