ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• As a Process Engineer Reduction, you will be responsible to Maintain, maximize and optimize processes and equipment to achieve set production targets within the Governance and Assurance Framework of safety and quality standards of the organization.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Contribute when necessary to assist PC&I Superintendent with operational planning;
• Innovate and improve on process philosophies. Develop reports covering results of technical analysis and audits;
• Ensure overall stability of the various process is maintained and there is a continuous drive towards improvement and technical efficiency;
• Monitor and ensure production/process quality in the plant is maintained;
• Discuss and explain technical issues. (Technical information sharing);
• Interact with Internal Departments and analyze performance and quality deviations of Anodes and reconciliation of quantities;
• Identify and report risks and hazardous factors.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders up to snr Management level;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a heavy industrial Environment.

Qualifications for this role is:

• Degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent (advantageous: Chemical Engineering Degree).
