Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Fine-tune discounts, price structure, pricing models, and contractual terms to elevate revenue, balancing profitability with strong customer rapport.
• Involvement in weekly flash analysis, monthly P&L and business reviews.
• Preparing ad-hoc presentations, performing excel simulations and modelling as per instructions from management.
• Compile and present insightful reports, conduct thorough analyses, and deliver actionable recommendations, influencing data-driven decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team to devise strategies that amplify profit margins and support sustainable business growth.
• Critically evaluate the financial and strategic implications of potential deals, furnishing actionable recommendations for profit enhancement and risk mitigation.
• Serve as the connection between different commercial sectors, advocating for knowledge sharing, best practices adoption, and a cohesive business approach.
• Lead and participate in negotiation processes, leveraging data and insights to secure advantageous terms and agreements for the company.
• Regularly review and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business health, identifying areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee and participate in the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with business goals while analyzing costs and identifying areas for potential savings.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data and insights to optimize processes, enhance performance, and drive business growth.
• Assist in building and reviewing Business Cases with the commercial team (Aviation, Lubricants, B2B, Retail, and other further commercial business).

Skills and Requirements:

Experience:

• University degree, Business Administration Experience, experience in private equity or investment banking preferred, role in analysis at least 3 – 5 years.
• Previous experience in finance or Downstream experience an added advantage.

Skills

• Extensive Computer systems skills, infographic and PowerPoint preparation skills highly required, pro excel user, any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
• Experience with Corporation Auditing, Business Consulting are preferred, but not critical.

Competencies:

• Excellent written, quantitative, and verbal communication skills (English and Portuguese lanague).
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and ability to effectively communicate financial information to business unit finance staff as well as senior management.
• Hands-on and detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task.
