Moza Minerals Montepuez Limitada (Moza Minerals) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gemrock Group of Companies (Gemrock Mozamique Limitada and Gemrock DMCC) Gemrock aims to build a World Class Ruby mining operation to rival and surpass our peers in the industry. Moza Minerals is the flagship operation for the Group and is situated in the village of Nakoja, in the Ancuabe District of Cabo Delgado Province in Northern Mozambique.
The current operations involve extraction of the ruby bearing ore and hauling it for processing at the Wash Plant and eventually sorting the gem-grade rough ruby for future export.
Over the past 5 years the company has grown from initially a dozen or so employees to currently over 250 directly employed staff, both nationals and expatriates and another tens of indirectly employed local staff.
Moza Minerals has the potential to be the largest Ruby Mining operations in Mozambique and now is recruiting:

Purpose

Maintain levels of materials in the store and record stock received, stock issued, balances on stock levels as well as to record diesel purchased and dispensed, include researching market trends of vehicles spare parts and machinery, maintaining relationships with suppliers and clients, inspecting spare parts and keeping inventory records.

Role include (but not limited to the following):

• General warehouse maintenance and housekeeping
• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
• Day-to-day procurement and inventory management
• Materials Receipt & Dispatch
• Stacking shelves / racking with products
• Keep production lines supplied and fill empty containers and packaging materials as needed
• Keeping accurate records of purchase orders, receivables, dispatch, back-orders and outgoings in system
• Picking, packing and unpacking pallets, small and large boxes
• Assembling various types of material packages
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Participate in all assigned duties relating to the store development and planning program
• Liaise with the Sales, Planning Department and Service responsible in respect of dispatch, receiving of goods and delivery
• Assisting in all areas of the warehouse, plant, workshop and other duties as required for the operation of the project
• Ensure warehouse, store and working areas are kept clean and safe at all times

Key Skill and Requirements

• Matric in account, marketing or similar.
• Previous store or warehouse experience recommended.
• Knowledge of mechanics, and vehicle or heavy machinery spare parts will be an advantage Proficiency in word, Excell A good level of physical fitness to enjoy practical work.
• Able to work quickly and methodically with good organisational skills.
• Good teamwork and safety-conscious attitude to work.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
• Report Straight to The Mine Storeman reports straight to the company’s Purchasing Officer and Admin/ HR Manager.
