Vaga Para Motorista (m/f)

EP Management and Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced and qualified Driver for an International Organisation, to be based in Maputo.

Funções ou responsabilidades:

• Drive office vehicles or vehicles rented by the office if necessary
• Ensure the transport of people and goods in Mozambique, the regions or border countries
• Properly prepare the means of transport on the day before exits to the field
• Inform the officer(s) in-charge in General Affairs Mozambique Office about any mechanical problems that may arise
• Inform the officer(s) in-charge in General Affairs Mozambique Office of the maintenance needs of the vehicles
• Daily fill in the log sheets (km, fuel)
• Supervise the repair of the vehicles
• Ensure the daily revision of the state of the vehicles (levels of oil, fuel, water, etc.)
• Guarantee daily cleaning of the interior and exterior of the vehicles
• Check the stocks of materials of the first aid kit in the vehicles before each exit to the field
• Carry out a responsible management and driving of the vehicles, respecting traffic rules
• Keep vehicles’ documents in order
• Deliver and collect correspondence and documentation
• Support the administrative officer Mozambique Office in: procurement and payment procedures, proforma requests related to purchases of materials and services documentation works
• Support the implementation of other activities Mozambique Office whenever necessary
• Other tasks might be assigned according to the evolution of office activities and demonstrated capabilities
• Other special tasks to be assigned by the Chief Representative of Company Mozambique Office, within the range of driver’s duties agreed. Such task may belong to the other Team than the assigned Team or may not belong to the Teams as common tasks

Requisitos ou qualificações:

• At least 12th grade
• Driver’s license valid for driving in Mozambique, issued for at least 3 years (driving experience on difficult terrains is a preferential factor). (Car/Dual purposes)
• Minimum 3 years driving experience as employee of corporate entity registered in Maputo (or in similar functions)
• Have enough experience and familiar with the transport and road network in Maputo with sound knowledge of the locations of GoM institutions, Diplomatic missions, Banks and other major private institutions etc.
• Preferably working in a foreign development donor
• Ability to communicate in Portuguese and English, and knowledge of Local Language would be an added advantage
• Good Health
• Have basic knowledge for motor mechanics
• Driving experience in crossing borders of Mozambique.
